Q. Do I need to send in a warranty registration for my Atwood product?
A. No, we do not register our products for warranty we use your date of purchase rather than a registration.

Q. What is the warranty period on my Atwood product?
A. Our warranty period is two years from the date of purchase to the original owner on almost all of our products.

Q. My Atwood product needs service what do I do?
A. Atwood Mobile Products has a network of over 2,000 service centers across the US and Canada. Find a service center near you.

Q. There is not an Atwood Service Center near me what can I do?
A. Atwood will honor our warranty with any RV Service Center even if they are not on our list of authorized locations. If you find someone that is not part of our network feel free to use them to perform service and they can file a warranty claim with us on your behalf.

Q. What if my Service provider will not do warranty service?
A. Please contact customer service 866-869-3118 to help find a service center. Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm EST.

Q. How do I get rid of an odor in my Atwood Water Heater?
A. Your Atwood Water Heater is easy to maintain and to clean. Download our water heater service brochure.

Q. Do I need an anode rod in an Atwood Water Heater?
A. No. Your Atwood Water Heater is made of a special aluminum alloy that does not require the use of an anode rod. Even though there are people who may tell you an anode rod is required you should not use one in our product it can actually harm the tank and would not be beneficial. If you are under warranty adding an anode rod will void your warranty.

Q. Where can I purchase an insect screen for my appliance?
A. Atwood does not use an insect screen for our gas appliances because it can interrupt the air/fuel ratio and will cause combustion issues. We do not make or endorse the use of these items. If you are going to use a screen for insects it must be only when the unit is in storage. Operating your appliances with an insect screen in place can cause damage and will void your warranty.

Q. Where is the filter to my Atwood furnace?
A. There is no filter in an Atwood furnace. You may not use a filter of any kind; it is not required and could cause damage to the heating system.

Q. How do I clean my Atwood Cooking Appliance?
A. The best thing to use to clean your Atwood Range is warm soapy water. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or harsh citrus based cleaners as it can damage the appliance. Download our range care manual.

Q. My cooktop is causing soot to appear on my pots and pans what do I do?
A. Make sure you are using the recommended size pans for your appliance. Download our range care manual.
