The electro-mechanical design has been time-tested for reliability, but in the unlikely event of trouble, a jack is easily replaced. Simply unbolt the jack and bolt on a new one- no hydraulic lines to bleed, no messy systems to change and no need for a specially trained hydraulic mechanic.
