Atwood mini 5th wheel hitches permit confident towing of trailers with capacities up to
32,000 lbs. G.V.W.R. and 7,500 lbs.-tongue load. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel,
these self-centering hitches hook up to a standard 2" king pin in one quick pass. The
locking plate locks around the king pin and remains in the locked position until released
by rotating the handles manually. Zinc plated parts and corrosion-resistant springs ensure
rust-resistant operation of the latching mechanism and long hitch life. For added security,
a padlock may be used in place of the pull pin to prevent trailer theft.
Single-Axis Mini 5th Wheel Hitch
Atwood’s mini 5th wheel single-axis hitch pivots 10°
fore and aft and is specially designed to reduce side-to-side movement to stabilize loads
with a high center of gravity.
Dual-Axis Mini 5th Wheel Hitch
Atwood’s dual-axis hitch pivots 10° both fore and aft and
side-to-side on large 1 ½" pivot pins to give tow vehicle occupants a smoother, quieter
ride. This also reduces stress on the truck and trailer and permits hitching and unhitching
on moderately uneven terrain.
Retractable King Pins
The Atwood retractable 2" king pin pushes down out of the way quickly and easily when
you need full use of the pickup bed. It has no friction pads or rings to wear out.
